My Story
In 2016, I took on my first project in Southern California—a website for a wedding company struggling to attract clients. I rebuilt their site from the ground up, adding a portfolio, client testimonials, FAQ section, and blog. Inquiries started flowing in almost immediately after launch, and my client was thrilled.
Since then, I've worked on numerous projects, including modernizing outdated, non-responsive websites and bringing them up to current standards.
My professional journey has given me a unique perspective. After spending 11 years in accounting at a Japanese law firm, I transitioned to tax work in the US, including roles at H&R Block—one of America's largest tax preparation firms—and at an international tax firm. Working with clients across diverse industries and professions has given me flexibility and a broad outlook. This experience allows me to understand and support clients from completely different fields with confidence.
I’ve developed my design process through years of international learning and collaboration—blending creative design, storytelling, and strategy into one cohesive system that helps businesses grow beautifully and effectively.
I've also been designing with Canva for over 10 years, which means I can help with social media and branding design as well.
When I'm working on a website, I lose all track of time. I enter what's called a "flow state"—and that's what I love most about this work. It's this complete immersion that allows me to craft sites that are detailed, user-friendly, beautiful, and truly communicate my clients' message.
