I began my journey as an entrepreneur in 2016, starting with web design, two years after moving from Japan to Southern California in 2014. My first project was redesigning a website for a wedding photography and videography company. The company was struggling to attract new clients, so I completely overhauled the site from the ground up. I added new features such as a portfolio of photos and videos, testimonials, an FAQ section, and a blog—elements that were missing from the old website.

Shortly after the launch, the client was thrilled to see a significant increase in customer inquiries. It was rewarding to see the immediate impact of my work. Since then, I've worked on various projects, including transforming non-responsive websites into fully responsive ones.

After the birth of my daughter, I took a break from web design. However, my creative side remained active, and I started creating flyers for friends, which became a beloved activity that I've continued for nearly 7 years.

When my daughter began preschool, I took the time to reflect on my career.
I transitioned into working as a Tax Preparer, leveraging over a decade of experience as an Accounting Clerk in Japan. I worked for companies like H & R Block, a Japanese accounting firm, and a global accounting firm.

But deep down, my passion for creativity and helping entrepreneurs never faded. That drive led me to establish SoCal Creative Works.

I firmly believe that no experience in life is wasted. My 10 years in the U.S. have been filled with diverse roles, including Tax Preparer, Babysitter, and Home Cleaner, etc. Each of these experiences has shaped me, and now, I am thrilled to use my skills to help entrepreneurs achieve remarkable growth in their businesses.
